A new survey from ChangeWave Research as reported by 9to5 Mac has found that the newest iPhone, the iPhone 4S, is proving very popular indeed with its owners, largely due to Siri. ChangeWave polled 215 iPhone 4S owners from November 2 to November 9, and found that the new phone has the highest levels of customer satisfaction ever for an iPhone, with 77 percent of respondents saying that they are Very Satisfied and 19 percent saying that they are Somewhat Satisfied. Only 1 percent said that they were Somewhat Unsatisfied or Very Unsatisfied. Siri is very popular with respondents, it seems, with 49 percent saying they like it. The camera and the overall ease of use of the phone also proved popular with those polled.
Amazing results for Apple, although 9to5 Mac points out that it was not all plain sailing for the new iPhone, with 38 percent of respondents saying that they did not like the phones short battery life, although only 8 percent considered the short battery life to be a Very Big Problem. In terms of dropped calls, half the number of iPhone 4S owners said that they had experienced dropped calls as had experienced them with the iPhone 4. Thirty percent of respondents bemoaned the lack of 4G, so lets hope that those rumors of the next iPads and iPhones getting 4G are true. Somewhat surprisingly though, the survey also found that only 11 percent of owners disliked the iPhone 4Ss screen size.
