Deleting photo albums fron iphone4s

Have tried to delete photo albums from my phone tried using iCloud and iTunes , on iTunes it doesn't show the albums that are on phone it just wants to put photos from PC to phone, the albums on phone won't delete the only options it gives me is to share or move them anyone help with this please x
