Modem Firmware is the version of your cellular radio. We need to know what iOS "Version" you're on for Jailbreaking purposes.

iOS 6.0 on the 3GS can be Jailbroken using redsn0w 0.9.15b2... Tethered for New Bootrom 3GS & Untethered for Old Bootrom.
