Gmail not syncing completely

I am receiving all new Gmail on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I can read, compose, and send new. When I open Gmail on my computer, I find that emails that I deleted in the Gmail phone app are not actually deleted. Something is not quite right with the syncing. Any thoughts?

To be more clear, I wanted to move unwanted and unread messages to the Trash. I found out how to do that in the Gmail Settings/Inbox customizations/Mail swipe actions. Thanks to all who took a look!

Glad you got it figured out..so you archiving instead of deleting on swipe previously?

Thank you, Bk. Actually, the Swipe feature wasn’t actually activated to do anything, either right or left, which then made sense. All is good now.
