I brought my phone from Tenerife last year, it was brand new unused in the box.
The man in the shop explained that it was unlocked to any network, and even showed me with my o2 sim card.
Everything worked fine, until i returned home the next week and updated it.
It came up with a screen saying connect to Itunes.
My mum managed to unlock the phone only with it being jailbroken, which can be really annoying because it means i cant update my phone until a jailbreak for the update is released.
Can my carrier unlock my phone completely?
Im going back to Spain in a couple of weeks surely i can update it over there??
