I think Apple is well aware of it. How could they NOT be? I have read countless posts like yours all over the internet. So this brings me to my final suspicion.I still refuse to shut off all the features that make my iphone an iphone - and I cringe every time I see that advice offered.

I am still wondering whether you need to condition the battery. I know the Lithium Batteries aren't supposed to have a memory like Nicad batteries used to, but I would recommend that you try and drain the battery all the way down until the phone shuts off and then charge it up to full and then drain it back down again fully. After a few times of this, I would think that the battery should be well conditioned. As far as whether these Juice Packs will mess up the battery, no they won't. They only kick in when the battery on the phone runs out of power. They are a smart battery power source. Aside from that, if your battery is constantly draining, you will never have to worry about overcharging the battery. You can leave a Laptop Plugged in while you're using it and never ruin the battery because you're using it, Applications are running and draining power from the system, etc.

I have done that but nothing has changed in battery life at all. Let's just forget about this thread.
