Q. I did the update that showed on my 4.2 i4phone and read that it would give my i4phone up to 5.0 and the many updates arn't up, what gives! Oh also Siri doesnt work any more as well as others etc.
I wanted the new update to work as June Y12 I can get the new
i5phone if or when it comes out.

Welcome. The app siri has been pulled from the app store. Just update to iOS 5 and update all of your apps.
