Boy Genius Report have managed to get their hands on what they believe to be the GM of iOS 5.1, which is basically the final, publicly-releasable version. According to Boy Genius Report, the GM confirms two changes for the forthcoming release. The first change affects how you use the fixed camera button that is adjacent to the unlock slide on the lock screen. In iOS 5.0, you have to tap on the camera icon on the lock screen to start using the camera. Now, all you have to do is drag the whole unlock slide section up, making the whole process of taking a picture much faster because you dont have to aim to tap the little camera icon. The second change is the addition of Japanese support for Siri, which 9to5 Mac has confirmed via the GM's Settings. 9to5 Mac says that it understands that there are no further obstacles to prevent the release of iOS 5.1, so expect to see it launched for public use very soon.
