iphone 4 ios 5 help

hi all i have an iphone 4 iOS 5 tethered jailbreak i used redsnow 0.9.10b5b and now i want to go to iOS 5.0.1 with an untethered jailbreak i haven't used any custom firmware

If you used 0.9.10b5 it's already untethered.

thats what i thought until i turned my phone off and back on and was unable to go into my cydia i had to use the tether boot in redsnow's extras

Do a fresh restore and then jailbreak

iv tryed a fresh restore through itunes and get error 21 or 1600 should i hold shift and manually pick my ios ?? and should i restore or restore and update ??

Do a restore, put your device in DFU mode and make sure your iTunes is up to date as well as you aren't blocking Apple servers in your hosts file.

ok thanks mate taking it as that will get rid of the jailbreak update to 5.0.1 and rejailbreak
