Iphone 4 is restarting my PC

Hi when i connect my iphone 4 with PC, it goes 5 seconds then my PC restarted.

I changed the old cable with a new one, but still the same problem.
I dont know what to do.

So you're saying your IPhone is causing your computer to restart? NOt the other way around. Try using a different USB port?

Yes my Iphone is restarting it, and I tried other usb port, but still the same problem.

And when i turn off my Iphone, i connect with PC, it dont restart the PC, and is charging battery too.

It might be a PC error and not an iPhone error. I've seen this case a few times on my colleague's laptops. Solved their problems by using a higher spec computer since they were running on an old old old Pentium Duo Core with 512MB Ram. It would blue screen the laptops because just plugging in the iPhone and booting up iTunes killed the processor and the RAM so everything would have to be dumped, restarted, close out all unnecessary process and dedicating iTunes to run on only one core.

So to expand on what Willerz said, can you try it on another PC. Then you will know whether it is the phone or your PC.
