Has anyone else experienced connectivity issues with your iPod on your iPhone 4 connecting to a newer GM vehicle? We just bought an Equinox and the dealer said iPhones don't connect to their radios. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Ok, forget this. The "tech expert" at my local GM dealership was wrong, along with our salesman and my wife. I connected the phone and the iPod played fine. If you come to Windsor, don't take the dealers word for it, GM cars can connect fine with iPhones. What a joke.

I have a 2010 Impala (Police Package) that I connect my iPhone to the Aux jack. I've used the headphone out, as well as the line out from the main connector plug. I also use that jack for my Satellite radio. I don't have any trouble with either.

Man I'm glad my local GM stealership isn't the only one filled with idiots.

Any auxiliary connection should accommodate your phone. For my 2002 Subaru and 2004 Mazda I bought one of those FM modulator connections that hardwires into the car. It essentially interrupts the antennae signal and drops the iPhone/iPod/Aux signal in. Works GREAT and charges the phone/pod at the same time. However if you're not comfortable drilling holes and disassembling your dash I would not suggest this route. If you want, I can tell you what I got but you have to PM me, I don't want to come off like a spammer.
