Do you know what winterboard actually does??
I've not tested it as the animation speed up is enough for me but winterboard is used to change system files so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible!!!

Ummm no. Winterboard is a theming tool. It is mainly used for replacing stock images on the device. It can also be used to make edits to various plist files but I doubt you could achieve an actual overclock by editing plist files.

Winterboard handles more than just themes.
It's not suppose to be an overclock anyway. It's suppose to remove the restriction so that the processor runs at its full potential.
It's restricted by software so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to remove the restriction the same way!!
Anyway, I said I've not tested it just that it's suppose to be possible.
That other guy needs to remove his tongue, it must be uncomfortable for you!!!

No it's not possible. Winterboard is just rooting into part of the system to make changes just like all other cydia apps/tweaks nothing more or less, winterboard is not OC the processor to use the processor full potential. whoever told you that was kidding you. If there were something which was capable to effectively OC the processor, it should be redsnow or any other jailbreaking tools which could give choices to ACTUALLY OC the processor before or durning the JB process.

What does WinterBoard actually do? It's actually quite simple. All WinterBoard does is "temporarily" "over write" original files so they can easily be restored back by simply disabling the .theme in WinterBoard. The explanation can actually get pretty complex, but in a nutshell, that is all WinterBoard really does.
