jailbroken iphone starts up like a computer, plz help!!

well i recently jailbroke my iphone using redsnow and i had 4.1 firmware and its an iphone 3g.....everytime i start up now my iphone goes through a process much like the starting up of a pc where there is a black background and scrolling white text after about 1 or 2 mins it will go to the lockscreen....it takes longer but then works like normal after that......also my iphone has slowed down quite a bit after jailbreaking did ne1 else find that happened....but neways my main dilema is the how to get rid of the scrolling white computer text so my iphone will start up just like normal

What text are you talking about? Are you able to read the text? What is it saying? And for a 3G iphone iOS 4.1 is already heavy, why don't you just use a 3.xx iOS on the 3G?

ok i found out i need to disable verbose boot what is the fastest way to do that.....can u provide step by step instructions plz

Your are in "verbose" mode. I tried it before and disabled it, can't remember how, now. Will keep looking.

My advice would be to run redsn0w over the top of your current jailbreak and disable the verbose boot option. See attached screenie (where it is turned ON)
