When you do the restore you'll have to update to 4.2.10 or 4.3.5 if you want to keep your ability to jailbreak you'll have to download a program that'll let you save your current firmware so you can downgrade once you've restored. Its only worth all this if FaceTimes important enough to you.

Use tiny umbrella. Google it and you'll find out everything you'll need to do and use!
