iDownloadBlog has an update today of all the many, many photos of plastic iPhone shells, including a range of different colours, that have started to appear on the Internet in their droves. The latest pictures, which were tweeted by the usually very well-sourced Sonny Dickson, according to iDownloadBlog, show some very bold new colours, similar to those seen on the new iPods. As iDownloadBlog notes, this is the fifth such batch of photos of what are said to be the plastic casing of the new budget iPhone, and they cant all be fake, can they?! Most likely some of them, if not all of them, are actually genuine, as the report notes, third-party vendors are already selling replacement plastic shells online, and there have also been several recent reports of component leaks for the new budget iPhone. iDownloadBlog also mentions an interesting theory from Ryan Jones, via his Twitter, as to why there have not as yet been any leaks of black plastic shells for the budget iPhone, with Jones speculating that Apple is keeping black as a pro colour, as with the new Mac Pro. Interesting idea![/FONT]
