9to5 Mac reports that Starbucks has updated its app so that you can now use it to save the Spotify playlists that you can hear playing in Starbucks stores while you’re having your coffee and cake.
Starbucks first announced its partnership with Spotify in May last year, and it sounds like the relationship is going from strength to strength, with this latest update enabling the user to both view and save the Spotify playlists that beguile their ears when they are visiting a Starbucks store.
As well as saving playlists, the update to the Starbucks app also enables user to take part in the creation of future Starbucks playlists by liking songs that they hear on the playlists they save. With this in mind, the app will now show new playlists in rotation at Starbucks, as well some of the most popular music played at Starbucks over the past 20 years on Spotify. All these new features will be available to both paid and free Spotify users.
