18 years ago, on January 9th, 2007, Steve Jobs unveiled the original iPhone at Macworld. It marked a new chapter for Apple, and the iPhone has become without a doubt the most successful Apple product of all time.

Relive the original announcement here:

It still gives me chills when he says "Are you getting it? These are not 3 separate devices, this is one device" and the audience cheers!

Who had an OG iPhone all those years ago? It's an adult now, and it can vote!

And in some places other than the US, the iPhone can buy a round of beers for us! (Using Apple Pay of course)

I still remember the day when the Aluminum 2G model was introduced and at that time, I was a loyal Blackberry user as where the majority of my clients and personal friends where in those days. But, I did get my hands on the device and after using one a friend had purchased and after using it, I knew Steve Jobs and Apple had a winner. In 2008 our company made the transition from PC to the intel based Mac's and we never looked back.

But, I will always have a soft spot for my trusty Blackberry devices which I traveled the world with and never let me down, sad to see a once iconic brand fall from grace. I lived on the Crackberry forums back then, even becoming an ambassador on the forums, fun times.
