Bought this really sweet Victorian Sewing box yesterday, Its badly in need of restoration.
Im going to enjoy doing this, I have the perfect Victorian fabric.

It looks like a nice wooden or leather purse. Have you ever discovered one with the original contents still intact?

Its Leather, I have seen similar ones with sewing tools inside but this one appealed more to me, I love restoring and its the cutest one I've ever seen, The leather needs touching in and polishing too, I might have to hunt for tools if I don't have any to fit.
I'd love to see it in all its glory when the restoration is finished.

Yes I will post photos when it done, I get such pleasure from bringing something back to its former glory (Or as near to as I'm able).
This piece dates from around 1880 or earlier judging by the colour of the original fabric.
