We've probably had less than 10cm all winter, so far.

So my impression was right. I didn't expect to find your photos almost without snow at this time of the year.

This means you were lucky to find this patch of snow with the bird tracks. Do you know which birds left them?

I'm not sure but they're probably sparrow tracks. Less than hour after I took the photo of the bird tracks the snow on the sidewalk had melted and the tracks were gone.
