A nice red lily seen during my afternoon walk.
The colour is wonderful!
When I take photos of red roses, the colour always looks "wrong". Not the same as in reality.
The default white balance and colour balance often times doesn't give an accurate depiction of the true colours of a scene. There are third party camera apps that give you full control over the camera.
I have one of them installed on my iPhone, but barely use it. I should try it next time.

Did you use the built in Camera app?
I used the built in camera app and didn't manipulate the photo at all. It did take me about 5 tries to get a sharp picture because the wind was blowing the flower around.
