Nobody knows for sure and nobody will ever know for sure. Any release dates are pure speculation until the tool is actually released. They are supposed to be demoing the jailbreak at the Hack in the Box conference tomorrow, but that does not necessarily mean that they will be releasing it publicly tomorrow.

It "supposedly" has been confirmed that there will be alive demonstration of the Absinthe 2.0 tool followed by the release of the tool as well.

While it is open to interpretation I don't recall there ever being a mass broadcast of a jailbreak release from the Devs that was wrong.

When they said 4.3.2 untether will be released tomorrow...it was released the next day.

I bet "anything" it will be released tomorrow...as t information on the matter has come from credible sources..

I really hate to even name another website on th forum....but idownloadblog.com never lies.

They would not make a front page post in giant letters staying "Absinthe 2.0 launches May 25th" if it was not going to be released. Has never happened before when they announces other jailbreak release date...(rite on every time) and I doubt it will happen now.

The way I look at it...expect it tomorrow. When? I don't know...but I think it will be out tomorrow.

Zig is right. Since Jailbreaking of the 3G and 3GS whenever the Devs have made a strong implication (like tomorrow) it's always been right on. It's coming out tomorrow. You can go to the bank on that IMHO.

They were just assuming that they would release the jailbreak after demoing it, but nobody(especially not MuscleNerd or pod2g) has said anything about a concrete release date yet.

There's a good chance that it will be released tomorrow, but nothing is 100% yet.

I never used the words "concrete dates". But you can infer from all past releases that there's a moment when we know when it's coming. The Tweets have VERY clearly implied the tomorrow release. So it's VERY safe to infer a tomorrow release. And people very close to MuscleNerd/pod2g posture only when they're 99% sure.

I agree.

I think the only reason it may not get released would be to some catastrophic disaster with there servers in which the tool is downloaded from.lol.

There always is.. but when you jailbreak a few times you will come to realise that most tools basically work the same and how easy it is to jailbreak..

it is safe to upgrade to 5.1.1 this is 100% confirmed and also tweeted by pod2G so I would do so before apple release another firmware
