Restore iphone from icloud

My wife & I each have an iPhone 4 running IOS5; she asked me how she would go about restoring her iPhone in the event she had to- and I realized I had no idea! I have successfully backed up my, and her, phone, but how do I restore the data from the cloud should the need arise? Would appreciate any help on this!

You have to plug your phone into iTunes and click restore. This will restore the iPhone to factory settings. When that is done your phone will show the setup screen. One of the options from there is restore from iCloud backup or start as new. Hope tho helps.

or if you right click on your device in iTunes (which is where you do the back up), you will see an option to restore from back up
