Samsung Galaxy S 3

Samsung Galaxy S 3

The thing is if you got an IPhone and an iPad then iCloud works perfectly, what are you going to do about back up, and also when the iPhone 5 comes out it will be expensive, before you go for the galaxy s3 look at previews on u tube

I have a feeling I'm gonna want my iPhone back too but it's so hard to ignore wanting that gorgeous galaxy s3. I also have an iPad 2 so I was thinking of having the best of both worlds. iPad and an android phone. So I have iPad for my apple fix, and galaxy s3 for my android fix. What do u think?

You know, I was in the same boat. I have an iPhone 4S and several android devices - one of which is an Evo View 4G (7 inch tablet). I thought I could use both but Jumping back and forth from a fast and stable iPhone where everything just works to a slow and buggy android device where everything is a lesson in futility made me want to pull my hair out. I finally decided to sell the android devices and get an iPad.

I hope it works better for you than it did for me, nobody should have to live like that.

I don't like samsungs I dont think there that good to be honest :P

Considering they are the number 1 Android phone manufacturer and they are currently outselling Apple, there are a lot of people that would disagree.

have to agree with that,i had the galaxy s.

S3 seems good.
But if it's rickity and plasticky like the rest I think I'll wait for the 5.

I get what your saying about the laggy buggy android system. But the newer devices shouldn't be laggy like the Samsung fascinate for example. I had one and it was totally laggy. I doubt the galaxy s3 is gonna be laggy running ice cream sandwich. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I did check out videos on YouTube and I liked what I saw of the galaxy s3

What do u guys think about the odds of Verizon getting the galaxy s3 before the October release of the iPhone 5?

Honestly I would at least wait to see what exactly the iPhone 5 offers before considering the SIII.

It's a comparison between the S3 and the iPhone 5 not the S3 and iPhone 4S.

The S3 looks like an amazing phone...despite the reports of crazy battery drainage when browsing the Internet.

But being that it released well before the iPhone 5 I know Apple is going to throw in some last minute changes to the launching software to comprise the comparison between the S3 and iP5.

My thing is I'm so impatient and ready for a new phone that I don't wanna wait until October for the next iPhone. Where did u hear about the battery drain with the Internet thing?

Oh just watching reviews on various sites...and a couple YouTube videos.

Most of the reviewers were Android enthusiast so of coarse they said its the best phone ever...but even the hardcore Android enthusiast said it drains exceptionally fast when browsing the web. Gotta be that quad core processor they claimed.

Do a google search I'm sure you'll find similar reviews.

Think about this, you can get the S3 now and be locked into a contract and a phone that may or may not have a decent operating system. If you like the iPhone 5 once it's released, how are you going to feel about the contract you're now locked into with the S3? You can always buy out of your S3 contract later but it would seem a waste of money if you decide the iPhone 5 better suits you.

Also, one of the reasons I dumped android was that the OS has undergone 3 major changes in as many releases (froyo to ice cream sandwich). Is Google going to change the UI layout in the next version like they have done in the last three, forcing you to relearn the UI?

The USA version is rumored to be duel core I read so maybe that will solve the battery draining issue.

Well, what i normally do when I'm unhappy with a phone is sell it and use the money to buy the new one. So I would still keep my contract and simply switch phones.

I guess the majority opinion here is 'don't do it!!' I know I should take your advice, but gosh, such an attractive phone!!!
