Yes... a Jailbreak is required to customize your icons & theme.

What I never understood is why you guys want the iPhone to look like android? I got an iPhone after owning the thunderbolt. I rooted and made it look like the iPhone. I think it's really funny that apple owners do the same thing.

Some people like the UI of Android but prefer the abilities and feel of iOS, some people just want to trick their friends into thinking their running Android on their iPhones

I used to ask the very same question to nokia users who would make their phone look like iphones, who would then say how much they hate iphones

When I had a thunder bolt , I said the same thing. Then I bought the 4s and I love it. If only it was 4g though. :-(
