Well, I splurged and spoiled myself with a new netbook. It's an Acer Aspire One AO756-2868 and I found it at a local department store (Kmart) for $340.00. I checked some prices online and it seemed like a great deal.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Processor: Intel 877 Dual core
LCD: 11.6" HD LED lcd
Memory: 4GB DDR3
Storage: 320GB HDD
Card reader: 2-in-1 card reader (SD card)
WLAN: 802.11 b/g/n
Webcam: HD webcam
Battery: 4 cell LiIon
It can boot from USB stick. I've already installed a linux distro on an 8GB USB stick (via unetbootin) and it boots fine. I'll resize the main netbook partition later and dual-boot Windows and Linux. I've been using Linux as my sole OS for over a decade, the last Windows OS I used was Windows 98 SE. Windows 7 is quite different. Now I have a dependable iTunes installation![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
It may not be the best netbook on the market but I'm very happy with it.
