Jailbreak using redsn0w make sure you select the IPSW as 6.0 OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT get PAST THE ERROR! Hacktivate it and hit the Evasi0n untether from Cydia!

The problem here isn't the fact that the OP's using the wrong method, he's not following directions. We're pass the point of diagnosing the problem.

I have selected the IPSW by going using RedSn0w > Extras > Select IPSW. I now have access to the phone. I still don't have Cydia installed in my phone. Done it again and now i have Cydia installed

Redsn0w > extras > Select IPSW> back > jailbreak > DFU mode > tick appropriate boxes > jailbroken

Got it jailbroken, and Cydia installed but i still do not have signal. Tried it with two different sims. Thanks for the patience

Did you install UltraSn0w and the UltraSn0w fixer?
