Hi, the voice activation button in my new BMW 5 series used to activate the voice recognition on the iPhone via bluetooth. Recently this function has stopped working and when I use the button on the steering wheel it tries to use the in-car voice recognition. I have posted in the BMW forums as well as I can't tell which side of the fence this issue lies.
Is there a way to turn the Bluetooth activated voice recognition on and off the iPhone? Are there any other settings I can check? I have tried manually activating it by holding the button on the phone and it works fine. I have tried both mine and my wifes iPhone 4, mine is 4.3.5 and my wife is on 4.3.3 so I don't think it's on OS thing.
Any help would be much appreciated!
