Took awhile to get used to but when transitioning to the Caribbean I found among other things that any sensation we ( from North) call 'crisp' is completely missing. From airport entry and beyond, crispness doesn't happen. Air, clothing, sheets and pillowcases aren't musty if cared for but never can be called crisp even in AC environment. Things might approach 'fresh'. but never crisp. The humid smell is always there everywhere and all the time. You notice it immediately when returning if having been away for a few days too.

Neither of these systems will affect up but local met office now forecasting the effects of a Tropical Wave to be a factor for the Windward Island ie lower Caribbean until mid week. I'm just happy for the rain.
