Hello to all, I have purchased a new iPhone 3gs (8gb) few weeks back. I work in Hospital as a management guy. I would like to read more about my new phone and increase knowledge with the help of you people.

Hello everyone, the name is Doug. I'm currently deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation New Dawn. I've had my iphone 4 since Feb. this year and looking forward to the release of the iphone 5! If any could help I have one question.... My iphone somehow reset itself so now it needs to be activated but obviously being in Kuwait I cannot do that. I would like however to somehow activate it as a ipod and for wifi use. Does anyone know how to do this or point me in the right direction??? Thanks!

Hi everyone! When I bought my iPad2 a few months ago I had no idea it would change how I view technology. The ease of use, the elegance of the interface..all have just bowled me over in a way that windows never has. I was a life-long die hard windows fan until I opened that iPad box. Now that the 4s will be available for pre-order tomorrow I am trading in my Blackberry and ordering the newest iPhone! I love the new features and especially the camera upgrade because up until now I always carried a small digital camera in my purse to supplement my BB. The iPhone 4s will allow me to use just 1 device for my most common needs. I had high hopes for an iPhone 5 that would resemble my iPad2 but it's not enough of a disappointment that I will wait to upgrade. I will just have to get an iPhone 5 next time!

I am a 64 year old retired male living in Hampshire UK, and I have had an iPhone 3GS for 15 months, trouble-free until now, which is why I am here. It is running 4.3.5 software and I regularly back it up and ensure updates are ok. I've got a problem with the Ringer caption illuminating without reason and then going to full volume. I'll look for threads on this elsewhere, but I have found in my initial searches of the forums so far. I could never go back to my old Nokia!!

haha thats a typical problem. basically the toggle switch on the side is loose now. you can either get it replaced or if you are JB then download sb settings with the ringer toogle that way you dont have to use the physical switch. when i had my 2g i never had the problem. when i got my 3gs i started feeling that the switch was getting lose so i found the alternative by using sb settings. and when i got my iphone 4 it was one of the first things i installed when i JB it. i recently acquired a 3g that was pretty beaten up but for free. i opened it up and replaced the volume/mute; lock and home button for around 25-30 bucks in parts. the phone works great now

Hi , I just registered to this site as I have ordered my very first iPhone...YAY !!! But I'm not new to Apple and have been on the Apple and iPad for some time . Guess I'll be hanging around here too ;-))))

I just joined the site...very interested to see peoples likes and dislikes of products, and to also see what is going on in the world of everything Apple. I have the iPhone 4, iPad 2 and iPod....I love them all...great products. My carrier is Verizon. Glad I joined!!
