I was given an iPhone 3g from my brother after he upgraded his to a 3gs. I have had a few problems with it since it is jailbroken, but as I am only using it as a telephone (at the moment!) it's ok. I would, obviously like to use it more but need to look round the forums for help especialy with Apple Apps which just do not work on my phone at all! Hope to find what I want here! Any help please where I can go in this vast place for help with a jailbroken iPhone 3g would be appreciated! Thank you!!

you should look into installing the whited00r ios on your 3g

Could not try whited00r (unfortunately) as it is not supported on my iphone Unless I am doing something wrong?) It says it is for iOS 3 and I have iOS 4.2.1 Baseband 06.15.00 (I was wondering if this was the problem. I have the wrong firmware and baseband for my iPhone (Jailbroken with redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16.)) But thank you again for the reply. Any more sugestions please?

Hi, am a new iPhone user and was using droid previously...hated it and LOVE my iPhone!!!
When I got my iPhone it had firmware 4.2.6 which I was able to do an untethered jb. I accidentally upgraded to 4.2.10 and now can only do a tethered jb which doesn't even work.
One of the plus's of having the iPhone was the capability to jb it but now I am reading there will never be an untethered jb for 4.3.5 or 4.2.10...how bummed out am I...very!!

i had my old 3gs on 421 with the greenpoison jb and enjoyed every bit of it but working in the oilfield i lost it in an oil sludge pit it was completely ruined now i have another one that is on 4.3.5 any advice for untethered jb would be greatly appreciated. as far as the jbme i cant stand it and wont put it on my phone.

hey guys/gals arrow here just sayin hi. got the i 4, love it, tryin to learn as much as i can about it. these puppies are packed full of features, ive already learned alot, but i know theres so much more to learn. thanks ahead of time for all the tips, help, and advice from any/everyone here.
