The iphone is great but one can not use it fully because of its battery. I don't want a battery that changes the form factor of the phone. I want the battery to be replaceable. Hot swap preferably. I don't ever want to have to switch my phone off unless i have to. Plus it would be nice if it had small rubber bumps on the front of the phone to protect the screen from low height falls. I know it wont protect from uneven surfaces but most of us live in really flat environments. Some minor protection would save a lot of money for the customers.

The iPhone has one of the longest battery life in the industry. You will never see a hot swap battery configuration in ANY cell phone. It is not a feasible request. I suggest you get an Otter Box or Life Proof case if you are truly worried about dropping your phone.

Widgets will NOT happen in iOS for the next 4 years.

Lithium-Ion technology is the issue for batteries not Apple.

LTE radios are a manufacturing issue at present and could still be an issue by next fall.

And good luck on the 4" screen unless Apple plans to breaks their own trademark concerning Retina.

Why the heck would Apple leave out widgets. I love mine. I only use a few but they are very handy especially my news and weather widget.

If Lithium-Ion is an issue for Batterys and the iPhone uses a Lithium-Ion battery than it is an issue apple still needs to look at. Especially when adding a LTE radio which is a battery hog.

A 4G network is a MUST for the next iPhone. Most carriers will have a 4G network by the end of 2012 and without this addition the iPhone will only slip further behind Google and Android in sales.

As for the screen, how can Apple break a trademark on the Retina screen when they own the trademark. They can apply the same technology to making a larger 4" Retina screen that would still be trademarked due to the process of making the Retina screen having already been trademarked by Apple. That is unless you are referring to the fact that all iPhones thus far have had a 3.5" screen and you don't think that apple will break from the norm of having a 3.5" screen in the iPhone.

Widgets are background applications that run constantly. Apple doesn't allow that for one very simple reason. It slows down the phone.

Apple is pushing battery makers to give them better tech. But just because Apple says jump doesn't make it change any faster.

I doubt it. The iPhone 4S is the first iPhone that is capable of being sold to most markets around the world. By spring of next year, Androids 51% world wide install base is going to be a lot smaller.

A "Retina" display requires a 300 pixel per inch density. Apple only has 3 screen sizes. 480x320, 960x640 and 1024x768. Which means if they use the 960x640 (326 PPI) they can only expand it to 3.8" and still keep to the 300 PPI standard.

Now they could do something interesting and go to 1024x768 at 300 PPI. The screen would be 4.3" in size. Which is very doable based on the current tech used to make the 960x640. But that would increase the cost of the phone. That is something Apple isn't interested in at present. But it is feasible they could do it for the iPhone 5 since they now have enough apps on the iPad side to start filling in the gaps for iPhone apps. Remember, on an iPad a 960x640 app doesn't fill the screen. They use direct pixel positioning not scaling. The reason is speed. But the other side of the coin is, the iPhone only apps would still look bigger because they would display at 3.8" inside of the 4.3" screen. Which is still larger than the current 3.5" display.

So if I was betting man the iPhone 5, if they change the display size at all, will be a 4.3" display at resolution of 1024x768.

And remember, you saw it here first should I end up being right ;)

An afterthought has occurred. The could also do a 3.92" display at 326 PPI and keep using the same tech they have now to make a new screen.

So I will call it between 3.92 and 4.3 at 1024x768.

It does work. I've timed it against my Droid even. Both get the mail within .2 seconds of each other.

There's your problem. You have it setup wrong. Set it up as a Exchange account. Google has a nice write up on how to do it.

a woman at apple told me its already possible to send pics via bluetooth but when i asked how she did not tell me.. i said to her my macbook pro can send files via bluetooth but where would i even send them to when all my idevices are apple and none of them allow me to send or receive anything via bluetooth whats the point having it on the computers when i have no where to send anything to? and she said well you can send pics via bluetooth

Maybe soon you can upload to the cloud instead of using bluetooth. Maybe steeve thought it was unnecessary since the cloud was around the corner.

Maybe you can't push because your battery is dead. Lol.
