White iPhone 4 Possibly Launching at Best Buy February 27

Following on from yesterday’s Engadget report that the White iPhone 4 had turned up in Vodafone Germany’s inventory, MacRumors has the scoop today with a screenshot sent to them by a source that appears to show a Best Buy inventory database with both 16 GB and 32 GB white iPhone 4s with in-stock dates of February 27th 2011. MacRumors notes that the SKU and model numbers listed for the white iPhones are exactly the same as those used by Best Buy when it was taking pre-orders for the white iPhone 4 back last summer. Those pre-orders were all of course cancelled when Apple announced that the white iPhone would be delayed for an indefinite time. The signs are looking good, then, for the imminent arrival of the white iPhone 4, although MacRumors throws a bit of a spanner in the works by pointing out that February 27th is actually a Sunday and not a Thursday or Friday, which is when Apple usually likes to launch a new product. Even so, it’s nice to see yet more evidence of the white iPhone 4's existence.
