I won't have one in my hands until tomorrow to look at and give my views on. Polycarbonates, polymers, Durlin plastic, and so on are very strong. I would say as strong as the aluminum but more flexible. This would help shock absorption. They are painted with PPG auto paint so we will have to see. I would think if it holds up on your car it would on your case.

glad to hear you will get yours tomorrrow i was promised a new one as the old design blocked the signal, nothing since maybe because i am in the uk

how long did it take to receive it, from the time you ordered? i ordered mine early yesterday morning. I live in Florida same as where the company is supposed at "Miami"
 
Awesome. I hope you will like it! I really like how they came up with the cut out side idea. The "pinstripe" fox I did on my original case worked well but not as well as this new design. I also tried a few different materials bit than Unni shot pics over shoeing this design and I am glad this was the final design. Very happy with it.

I thought he sent a composite one over but he forgot. My next video will have one of them in it. I am told there is ZERO signal loss. I suggested Durlin plastic. I guess they found something better. Can't wait to see that as well.

I thought you fixed te signal issue for them??so much so they had to redesign their case and it still kills the signal.

He is not nolesfan, nor did nolesfan steer us to redesign the orignal case. We have been in talks to slit the sides for some time prior to nolesfan's testing of the tape. The oringal design will be retained in our composite line for even the weakest of signal maps. Red... T/R is someone else, and in a different state and was just interested in doing some reviews and testing of liners to help those in real weak signal areas. The vented sides do help significantly. Again it depends on signal strength in your area. I have 5 bars with the original design (-79db) and 5 bars without the case on at -72db. Hope this clarifies for you mistusin.

It wouldn't hurt Atomic to spend as much time researching a fix to reception issues as to monitor and respond to emails concerning these issues. Their cases and customer service need very very much to be desired. Bet any money, I get a quicker response to this post than the emails I've sent to Atomic.

I've personally gone beyond being pissed off with the whole thing to be honest. I'm fed up of waiting, it's coming up for 2 months since this ordeal started. Even if this replacement case that I've been sent turns out to be great I've just gone beyond caring now.

What made me laugh is the only reason I originally went with atomic is because the vapour case had a long waiting list. What turns up in my inbox the other day? The pre-order email from element cases saying they are now ready for me to place my order. Lol so 3 months after I placed my pre-order with them I finally have the chance to buy it, I should of just gone with them. I would of got the case I wanted and quicker.

Tell you what, if my replacement case doesn't turn up next week then I'll actually just call the police and report a robbery. Because at the moment I feel like I've been robbed.

Well James, even though you've addressed the previous, I'll chime in.
YES...I FEEL I WAS ROBBED!!!! Downright sick to my stomach that I purchased 2 Atomic Industries cases that apparently are junk!!!!

Its faster to reply to a forum than it is to emails because of the sheer volume. I understand ur frustration although. I'm in the same boat, as I too have ordered a case, and do not want the slit on the side, and since they have made improvements, I too would like a new version that works. I paid for mine on the 12th Oct, and Im in Australia, So I KNOW, that there is some time before I get it. To be expected, as I still havnt even gotten an order number yet.
Now I realise the long waiting time, I think I should have ordered the carbon fibre back too, lol.
In Australia, were a lil slower in getting things than the US, but we've made comparisons with both ELEMENT and ATOMIC, and I can say from personal experience, ELEMENT's responses are even slower.
 
I have been indicating my order number in the last 3-4 emails I've sent to the Atomic Industries sales link. I did send another email w/order number yesterday...crossing my fingers so hard the knuckles are turning white!! QUOTE]

Ok, now something is wrong. I have also been monitoring the emails, and Nothing came in pertaining to this request. Did you actually type [email protected] - Reason Im saying this, few others stated they clicked a link off our website and stated it came to us, but it didn't. SOmething is seriously wrong with a link somewhere though I checked the site and the spelling is correct....
