What does the assistive touch do. How does it work? Does it eliminate to use of the home button?
Yeah, unfortunately I may have to upgrade my iOS from 4.1 to the newest version 5 simply due to the Assistive Touch feature. My Home button is getting worse by the week, and the Assistive touch will spare me using it by a LOT.
Too bad Apple couldn't have made (contracted) a simple Home Button switch last longer than 1 year. Duh! Note: the Home Button problem is quite ubiquitous. IOW, it's not just me.
I also use this. The problem is you can't turn on Siri with it.
Or make apps wiggle for deleting or moving; though you can make them stop wiggling.
I guess that with Siri, Apple figured the Assistive Gesture was raising it up to your ear...?
