Ok do you have the latest version of iTunes installed?

Yeah I'm getting 1015 and 3194 ):

it's after I jailbroke it , I went to restore because I'm selling it , and it's stuck on recovery mode, and I never backed up with SHSH or whatever ):

yes snow breeze works great. THE ONLY problem is tethered jb. But at least you learned a valuable lesson. We all screw up. Don't take it personal. Thats how you learn is from or through your mistakes. I hope you enjoy your jb

Here's something you may also want to try. I've had the same problem before and this resolved my issues.

You say you've tried everything... I'm sure you tried tinny umbrella... Well here lies your problem...
*Go into your- windows/drivers/system 32/ etc... (I think that's the right path)
*Look and see if you have 2 host files (1 from iTunes & 1 from TU)
*Relocate one of those host files to your desktop or a folder ( I moved the host file from iTunes. Be sure you know where the host file is so you can put it back)
*then try a simple restore from iTunes. This should work.
Hope this helps

Hi guys im having a lot of trouble with my iphone 3g.
I have tried so many guides with no luck!
Its my friends iphone which i bought off of him and its on baseband 06.15.
It is on firmware 3.1.2 according to tiny umbrella but i cant get it out of recovery mode.
I have used irecovery, ireb, tiny umbrella and a few others to try and boot my phone but the exit recovery options never work!
I used a custom ipsw for 3.1.2 which it installed but it never loads past the boot screen.
Finding it very frustrating as nothing at all seems to work and when i try and change the os using DFU mode and alt+ restore on itunes i get error 1015.
Does anyone have any solution as to what will get my iphone working?
Or is there no way i can sort it out?
Many thanks in advance!

so none of the methods on this thread worked for me. it was just recovery loop after recovery loop. if you're having the same issue, go to this website moderate - NO external link to other blogs or forums! and try their method because it just worked for me! i've been dealing with the sad 4.2.10 life for about a month, but i'm finally back to my old 4.2.8 jailbreak

i thought the purpose of the forum was to help people out and answer questions. no one here was able to help me so i posted a link to the method that worked for me, but apparently the powers that be have an issue with being helpful if it's not part of their forum. sorry guys. good luck with solving the problem.

I have saved SHSH on Cydia & TU, and I want to dg from 4.3.5 to a a saved 4.3.3 to JB. I have been unable to do this do far.
Any advice is welcome. I have win 7 and have altered my host files.
Please help.

After a lot of trial and error I managed to downgraded my iOS from 4.3.4 to 4.3.2..I'll b brief
1)make sure u have a iTunes backup
2)using redsnow enter ur phone into pwned mode using the firmware to which u want to downgrade..remember to uncheck 'install cydia'
3)next run tiny umbrella TSS server n check in d log if all ur saved shsh blobs have been cached by the server
4)run iTunes n install d firmware by pressing shift n clicking on restore note ur phone will b in dfu mode until now
5)once d firmware is installed ull get 1013 error half way of the process..don't panic
6)download fixrecovery for ios4.3.x which is not tiny umbrella..it's a dos run programme..google it if there is a problem
7)now change d USB port to which ur phone is connected (this worked for me)
8)keeping d iTunes window open in d background run fixrecovery ..it wil ask for dfu mode again..once entered greenpoison exploit wil be installed..if successfully dun u shld see ur apple logo immediately after d process is completed on the phone
This worked for me..I hope it works for u ppl..cheers

Latest info I have is not to make any changes to stock host file on win 7.
Pointing to cydia in advanced settings in TU is enough to do the job.
If you have experience with another method you have used with success,
please let me know.
Thank you.

So far this method has not worked for me at all in any of the various permutations that people have posted....earlier I tried even just restoring to stock iOS 4.3.5 and it still went into recovery loops...Now, though, it has successfully restored to 4.3.5.
I was on 4.3.3, jailbroken, and I wanted to do a full restore and start over because I had terrible lag and it pissed me off, lol. So, I tried to use some methods found online to restore to 4.3.3 not 4.3.5. But nothing worked, and I read somewhere that you have to upgrade to 4.3.5 then downgrade to whatever it is that you want. Sooo I tried restoring to 4.3.5, as mentioned above.
Now that it's running 4.3.5 I'm going to try downgrading to 4.3.3...wish me luck.

The main problem I had with this method was the same as a few people mentioned several pages back: after using redsnow, my phone never got to the spinning and/or the pineapple logo...in fact, during all the text that normally scrolls down the screen during jailbreak, I'm pretty sure that something went wrong during that process, because the text didn't look the same as I had remembered from previous jailbreaking experience. And after a relatively short time during the text, the phone just reboots and goes back to the recovery logo, and TU won't pull it out. Aarrghghh!
