iPhone 4 MMS receiving problem. Please help.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems with MMS messaging since the 4.2 update? Whenever I receive a MMS picture/video message it only stays on my phone a couple of days and then becomes no longer visible, at times even deleted from the text message chat history all together...smh
