Both cameras (iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone X) have 12 MP.

And while both phones have the same resolution cameras the sensors themselves are not the same. The iPhone X (and the 8 and 8 Plus) have sensors with deeper pixels.

No filter...imported into light room and darkened the sky because it was a rainy gray here is the original. Oh I also took out the electrical pole behind the truck too.
