If this is still there, it must have lasted for quite a while. We had a hailstorm last week, but within minutes every trace of it was gone afterwards.
I took the picture just over an hour ago. It's likely still there.

The third picture is my favourite, with it's spectacular colours. I've waited to take sunset photos and you never know what you're going to get until you take the picture. Sometimes early promise peters out early, but you got some great shots today.

You're right. When I saw the clouds, I hoped there would be a beautiful sunset. It looked promising, but you never know in advance how it really turns out in the end.
