You might not, If I remember correctly last year some models of 6s had longer delivery dates within a few hours.
If you want delivery on the 16th I would order as early as possible.

If it's anything like the Apple Watch pre-order last year, taking more than a couple of minutes to complete the order at the very start of the pre-order period could result in delays of a month or more in delivery time.
