I would be interested in hearing about this. This is one of the reasons I didn't make many shelf wallpapers for the 6+, thinking that the shelves would be a bit "off" in landscape orientation.

That's too bad. Thanks for the information, though.

Perhaps what Apple could have done was to use a file that defines two separate wallpapers - one for each orientation - and have the wallpapers swapped out as the orientation changes. This would take care of the problem I would think. But, it would also have added complications where there otherwise weren't any.
