I just tried deleting all the photos and sending them fresh from my mac instead of my iPad but they're not showing up in camera roll for some reason, Thanks for all your help though, its much appreciated.
No problem...I'm just baffled by the whole thing....let us know what the problem was when you find out

Ok, I reset my settings and got the save image bottom left so I thought great, I saved the shelf wallpaper and set it and guess what? same problem.
I rebooted, tried the other two shelf papers, tried a normal wallpaper, went back to the shelf, turned off zoomed and back on again and they just don't fit properly.
I'm stumped now
I'll have another go tomorrow but I don't think they're going to work for me for some reason.

YAY....I finally found the answer, I disabled Parallax in Accessibility and now the shelf wallpapers are perfect.
It was really bugging me and I knew there had to be a simple answer.
