Syncing My Ipod touch with a new computer?

So i'm about to sync my ipod touch to a new computer. I've copied all the applications + music across.

Is there anyway i can transfer the data from my applications (for example saves in my games) when I sync it, or will that all be lost? Is there any way of saving it through game center?

The old computer was a mac, and this is a pc, if that makes a difference.

Authorize the computer and back the phone up. I don't know if the game saves will be included.
