I don't know if it true or not, but l've been carrying this thought in my head for years. It's all to do with freezers.
A team of guys were trying to climb mountains somewhere really cold and got lost.
Their food was running out, they discovered a tent with dead explorers, who probably also got lost.
However they had unopened tins of corned beef or something. Keep in mind the temperature was -20/30C
When they opened the cans amazed to find it was still edible. On there return they talked about this and companies started to investigate the possibility of building home freezers.
I know someone on here will spoil my childhood dream [emoji38]
