Unable to update applications ? Help

So the problem is that if I get an application from appstore and after some while they release an update, I won't be able to get it not even in itunes... I have do delete the app and then just download a fresh new one ... It always starts downloading then installing and after that just stops and gives me an error .. THIS IS FOR EVERY APP...iPhone 3GS 5.0 untethered..

What do you think guys ?

I am having the same problem
New iphone4s
says there is an update for senor & electrical tool plus doodle snake try to hit update and it does nothing
don't want to remove from the phone and then not be able to reload app
