I can now say I held a 1 Kilo bar of pure silver in my hands:

Up till about 16 years ago I had a 50oz bar that weighed just over 1.4kg.
On a side note, when I toured the Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa in 2004, I had the chance to lift a large gold bar weighing over 50lbs.

I didn't see that bit I did cheat. Google used to have a feature for iOS devices called Google Goggles. Among other features, it had a sudoku solver. You aimed your iPhone or iPad camera at the puzzle and it scanned it and sent the data to the Google servers. The answer came back in seconds and you would watch as the missing numbers filled themselves in.I wish I were that brilliant.

The Google Goggles app for iOS devices was pulled from the App Store by Google about 3 years ago and users had the downloaded app disabled. Google now restricts it to Android devices only.
