It really cuts down the time needed to place an order. That's how I was able to get my Apple Watch on release day last year. The Apple Store app really is the best way to pre-order as its less likely to be subject to delays like the website version of the online store.

After cutting the armband of my Polar flow Watch small enough so that it would only fit a 3 month old baby.

Got it back today and all charged up and ready to sync.
But then l've got to make it smaller again oh dear.
