I love those big rigs. I tried to attend the J. B. Hunt trucking school some years ago, but was denied due to the requirements for a commercial license because I'm deaf. The Kenworth and Petebilt (not cab-over) of the 1980's were my favorites.
That's a pity. I don't think deafness is a bar to driving a truck. In fact, I think a deaf person might be more in tune with the truck than a hearing person.
The actual reason is the need to be able to talk to EMS when things go wrong, so I suppose it makes some sense.

Listening to my son playing "Abide with me", and music from Thor and Star Trek on the piano.
Last time I heard Abide With Me was when I asked Siri to play S&M by Metallica for me. I think she was slightly confused.

I was too late to see it from the beginning, so I don't know whether or not they mentioned it. I didn't hear anything about his name since I started watching it.
As it's a documentary, they should have mentioned his birth name, J. R.
