It's called Music

If you've downloaded music from your computer to your iPhone, you'll find it in the Music app. iTunes is an app on the iPhone where you can purchase music, videos, or find items purchased in iTunes.

The mute button is on the left side of the phone above the volume controls. Orange means silent.

You are right about "DND". You can only specify one time block for auto operation. However, you can start it manually from Control Centre.
Thank you - I didn't know what the orange button was. Do I use that to unmute also?

My problem is that they are on my computer - not on the iPhone - not even in Apple Music.

Yes it unmutes when you flip the switch back towards the screen if you muted with this switch.

Thank you - Doesn't work - getting the message "Some of your files were not copied to the iPhone "David's iPhone" because iCloud Music Library is enabled on the iPhone".
In that case, open iTunes (computer), go to Preferences and enable iCloud Music Library. Make sure you're using the same Apple ID in iTunes in your computer, and on your iPhone.

I was just reading up on this. If you subscribe to Apple Music or Music Match, iCloud Music Library is automatically turned on and you can't manually manage music on your phone. I'll dig into this when I get some time and see exactly what is going on.
