So you could conceivably have your own music, composed by you, becoming DRM protected by the system and no longer able to be copied by you.

I hope this is not intentional on the part of Apple and will be corrected in the future.
This is scary - and should be for anyone in this situation. The bottom line - as much as I don't like it - Apple has every right to a closed ecosystem - as that would be the rationale for things working as well as they do. Whether or not this is intentional, there should probably be some action against Apple. Bottom line - I OWN my music. I've heard the same concerns from others. Maybe this deserves it's own thread here?

Wondering if someone has some insight on this one. I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta with sync. When I connect my iPhone and try to play sound, nothing is coming through. Car is on aux, volume up on both the car and phone, still nothing. Works fine with my android phone and my old windows phone. I tried for a half hour to get it to work without luck. Phone seems to have detected external speakers as it doesnt play through the phone speakers when connected.

Any ideas?

Don't know if its any help but I have to put mine on Aux then Media before it connects to my iPhone.

Check the volume on the phone after connecting. Volume controls on the iPhone are not global. Speaker volume can be 100% while Bluetooth can be zero.

There doesn't seem to be anything to pick after picking "aux" on my car. It just says something like "Bluetooth streaming". (Forget the actual wording)

I can confirm the phone and the car volume have both been cranked up to full and still no audio. I'm using the regular volume rocker on the phone while a youtube video is playing. I assume that would adjust the correct volume.

Thats a bit strange then....You could try Apple for help, With your new iPhone comes 90 days of free support, Worth a try.

I have read other threads regarding the 2011 Fiesta stating that some people have had to reset sync either via the fusebox or by disconnecting the battery. I will try this and see if it makes a difference.

EDIT: I have a feeling the issue is on the car's side as the iphone works fine in my 2013 Ford Edge

Is there a way to alphabetically order downloaded apps other than manually doing so?

You can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout>Reset Home Screen.
This will place the stock apps in their factory default locations and the rest will be ordered alphabetically.
If you have any folders, they will be removed.

I've not tried any methods without computer ...I normally set mine from my music library ...
