I'm glad I didn't wait, I was driving myself mad trying to get the old one to work or using the built in one and I have never got on with the built in trackpad.
I'm loving it especially the Force Touch.

I'm using the built in trackpad half of the time, but I use and like my Magic Trackpad 2 as well.

I just never did like the built in one, I like the bigger size of 2 especially when dragging and dropping, I use to run out of space with the old one.

I love that it has an on/off button, I found this morning that when I turned it back on this morning it connected immediately.

I thought the first Trackpad had an on/off button as well.

No it didn't, It could be quite annoying at times. You could click the button at the end which is the power button but it didn't really seem to function as a proper on/off button.

As I added the original one has a power button but it wasn't as good as having a proper on/off button.
